Youtube gives no fucks about anything that doesn't threaten them/their status. Here are a couple ads I have screenshot from YT.

Are those targeted ads? What have you been up to? /s

Only now did I realise the potential of targeted AI-generated ads. I'd never buy whatever they're selling ofc, but imagine seeing an ad with a character from some obscure 2000's game barely anyone else played on your feed.

I'm assuming that it'd have to be added on Youtube's side though, and the ads here are just someone making thousands of individual ads for the mainstream stuff.

This is what is confounding about this. This account/device, has only interfaced with youtube for purposes of a friend's music. The only things it has done is watch his channel, and upload to it.

Had it been on my account, I could easily see how clicking on links with terms like furry in them, on places like lemmy, might lead to something like this. However this is a device, and account specifically created to have only "clean" history when interfacing with this account. Also, it would have been blocked on my account, but using a creator account with ad block on can get the account banned.

Recently saw a comment talking about how stupid it is that some things are forbidden to talk about in YouTube while they're basically showing porn ads. Didn't know what they were talking about since all my devices use adblock but holy shit if you'd told me you took those screenshots on pornhub I would've believed you

Yeah I have seen a lot of other porn ads on it, but the zoophilia just pushed it over some threshold where I felt the need to document it.

The weirdest thing is that these screen shots come from an account, and device, that have only ever been used to upload, and listen to, a friend's music on this account he made. It was done specifically to have a "clean" history for the account.
