I thought I saw that evangelicalism in LatAm has been driven largely by more middle class and whiter folks. That as leftist governments like that of Evo, Lula, et al have economically raised up the poorer and indigenous peoples, evangelicalism has emerged as a way for the middle class to separate themselves.
