I wonder if Catholicism being overrun by Evangelicalism in the New World (particularly in Latin America) is due to people’s blood lust driving them towards a more demonic religious denomination

I thought I saw that evangelicalism in LatAm has been driven largely by more middle class and whiter folks. That as leftist governments like that of Evo, Lula, et al have economically raised up the poorer and indigenous peoples, evangelicalism has emerged as a way for the middle class to separate themselves.

I saw Flavio Bolsonaro accusing Lula of not supporting all the things the US and Trump do and it’s the most pathetic shit imaginable. The mental colonization among latinos is pathetic. You WILL get poorer and the US will not save you.
