Like the Romans used to drink from lead cups. Something like that.

done by humans for over 2 million years and there is nothing wrong with it

The former does not imply the latter.

Cooking is a great example - eating cooked food might be the defining feature that seperated homo from other primates, and yet all cooked food is much more carcinogenic than raw.

Just because we literally evolved to do something and have been doing it for millions of years doesn't mean there are no drawbacks, or that it doing it won't kill us.

it does. it doesnt conclusively prove it, but it is evidence toward it.

Missed the part where I said no drawbacks.

or that it doing it won't kill us.

    Missed this too, apparently.

Are you making the argument that, in the future, eating meat will be determined to be unhealthy even though, as you put it, “we literally evolved to do” it?

Or perhaps there’s nothing wrong with eating meat, in and of itself, but consumption at the current scale is unhealthy? In no small part due to the potential for advanced viruses and illnesses created by jamming a bunch of animals together in confined spaces .

To me "there is nothing wrong with it" implies there are no negatives, so no drawbacks, no chance it might kill us, etc.

Really? To you “there is nothing wrong with it" implies no negatives? None at all?

Are you a Sith? Do you deal only in absolutes?

If you were overhearing a conversation and person A tells person B, “sometimes I do 70 in a 65 zone to keep up with traffic”

And person B says, “there’s nothing wrong with it”

you’d have to chime in and let them know “exceeding the speed limit significantly increases the likelihood of a collision and the severity of injuries in an accident” because they just implied there are no negatives to speeding?
