'anti-anti-semite' crusades often just because zionist crusades, as we have seen since WW2 and on this very forum. Kill Hamas and the Houthis, those anti-semites! Ban the anti-semitic users who want to use a "holocaust emoji" isntrael. Muslims are all a bunch of anti-semitic conspiracists, unlike me the enlightened Western Anti-Zionist who opposes Israel the correct way. Shoot those children who hate the jews who steal their land, they are anti-semites!

    Nietzsche died in 1900 and has nothing to do with arguments on the internet on a bear themed shitposting website. nazis control much of the western world. Denying the existence of antisemitism is laughably wrong.

    yes, hexbear is full of various kinds of infantile westerners with various infantile takes. i don't think it follows from that, logically, that antisemitism doesn't materially exist. i can't say for sure how powerful they are, but there's no doubt that there are all sorts of fascist groups peppering the west who really genuinely hate jews. some of them even leave their house on occasion. whether there's a path for those groups to create genuine oppression is a different question, but it's not one that can be answered by a simple glib dismissal. obviously outside the west i'm not convinced there's any threat from antisemitism.

    the threat from anti-anti-semitic concern trolling is higher than the threat of anti-semitism in the left. Letting in Liberal Zionist arguments, alienating POC and arabs and muslims, giving the CIA a wedge to destroy our organizations. These are all proven tactics of our enemies that work because a certain portion of the left has a weakness to it and falls for it.

    on the other hand, refusing to address a genuine issue is its own wedge. i don't really believe there's a whole lot of "antisemitism on the left" but there is, ideologically at least, a lot of antisemitism in the west. we should not, i agree, entertain concern trolling about "antisemitism on the left". especially the israel flag emoji bullshit. but i think there are a lot of people on here and elsewhere who insist that antisemitism doesn't materially exist anywhere in the world, and i don't think they've met the burden of proof on that one. for one, where did it go? what makes the right-wing bellyaching about jews not materially real? that's not to downplay the issue of islamophobia on the left, which does genuinely and materially exist. and yes, i agree that the concern trolling comes from that.

    Youre bringing in a bunch of shit neither I nor Nietzsche gestured at. I'm obviously against the weaponizarion of so-called anti-Semitism by Zionist. I unequivocally support Hamas, Ansarallah and the Axis of Resistance against the Zionist entity.

    So, I'm a little confused by your posturing. Are you against against actual anti-Semites or not?

    i'm against anti-anti-semite crusading in left spaces where it isn't a problem. it's concern trolling and zionist-adjacent behavior. It's how they attack muslims (and ex-muslims) like me, it's how they destroyed the UK left, and it's how they attack anti-zionists and this community has already demonstrated it is prone to this type of overcorrecting self-policing that drives off POC and muslims.

    My first comment was a commentary on how poorly "shooting all the anti-semites" has aged, and how agreeing with reactionaries about "we should shoot all the people I think are anti-semites" is a little suspect in this light.
