on the other hand, refusing to address a genuine issue is its own wedge. i don't really believe there's a whole lot of "antisemitism on the left" but there is, ideologically at least, a lot of antisemitism in the west. we should not, i agree, entertain concern trolling about "antisemitism on the left". especially the israel flag emoji bullshit. but i think there are a lot of people on here and elsewhere who insist that antisemitism doesn't materially exist anywhere in the world, and i don't think they've met the burden of proof on that one. for one, where did it go? what makes the right-wing bellyaching about jews not materially real? that's not to downplay the issue of islamophobia on the left, which does genuinely and materially exist. and yes, i agree that the concern trolling comes from that.
