This comm has lost any sense of meaning. This comm is basically /c/main at this point.

Comm distinctions should be treated more as a kind of loose suggestion

    (Except c/fakenews)

I would like to point out that /c/slop is the second most active comm as of this past week and purely because people just post everything in here. The only similarity between posts in this comm are that they are all written with a tone of condescension.

I am told that this comm is to protect hexbears by being a space for quarantine of offensive content. This is a lie. If this statement were true, then it wouldn't be the second largest comm and growing. It might become the largest comm before the end of the year.

The comm exists purely as a space for hexbear posters to be smug. The comm is treated as a space for bullying.

And it makes me wonder? Who am I to feel condescension towards the main negotiator for the latest victim of US imperialism?

Ghalibaf has shown himself to be a great threat to US global hegemony. Ghalibaf is the representative for ~90 million people, standing in the face of the Greater Satan.

If Ghalibaf posts math memes, then I fucking love math memes. He sets the standard for what is cool, based on his achievements. When Neil deGrasse Tyson posts math memes, it is cringe because he only prides himself on being an enlightened atheist. It is the people who mock Ghalibaf who are slop.

This post isn't mocking Ghalibaf, though. The title is playing on the joke of Amerikkkans being so uneducated and racist that they are scared of things like algebra and Arabic numerals.

This comm exists because a subset of the mods really hate Twitter screenshots, started a fight with the users about it, then lost.

Its a slop because behind the equation this tweet is just an Iranian uncle shitposting on twitter. Uncle's basically saying Fed increasing interest rate would not really cut inflation because there's still no supply, because they (Iran) control the supply of oil.

Just an Iranian uncle? MB Ghalibaf was the lead negotiator in the Memorandum of Understanding ceasefire agreement at the Islamabad talks. The agreement promised that the US would give Iran $300 billion dollars and Trump signed the agreement in France.

As long as Iran is successfully resisting US Imperialism, I would say the lead negotiator of their country is actually pretty smart and probably deserves some respect.
