No way in hell I'd pay more than $100 for a football game, that is just rediculus!

I've never understood how people can shell out that much for tickets to anything. Sit in uncomfortable seats for a couple hours then go home - what the hell is the attraction??

There are enough people for whom $1000 is like $20 for you to fill stadiums.

It’s a good gauge of changes in income inequality, because the supply is inelastic - the stadiums can’t expand to hold more people, but ticket prices can change according to what the top 1% are willing to pay.

I'm glad my favorite bands sell tickets in the $20-50 range. Though I almost always get a T-shirt or something, and maybe a drink, the total night out is under $200. I just couldn't justify spending more than that.

Haha oh let me really blow your mind - this is for an NCAA game. These ticket prices aren't even for pro team.

I knows it’s not apples to apples, but my football (soccer) team were charging £40 for the first home game of the season and I just refuse to pay that much. £30 for me is the max I’d pay and that’s only for the “big” games like local derbies
