I think this is bait, no?
It's just such a perfect storm of terminology, that I can only see it as deliberate.
- yumeship, so dream shipping, where shipping usually means to imagine a relationship in a text that might be subtextual, or even fully imagined.
- uncomfy/gen, so the usually not very serious gen z term uncomfy for uncomfortable, but then paired with the tone indicator /gen for geniuine.
- F/O, so fictional/other, a fictional character you ship yourself with, but here applied to a real person they are actively talking to (more "at" than "to", I guess)
- character ai, so the LLM that is configured to produce output similar to a character or person.
But still, poor Willow, that seems like a very shitty thing to receive.
