Honestly I think it depends how locked into the story you are? Like if you're waking up during one of the prologues, esp nomad/streetkid, I'd imagine you can just walk away from the story and live a "normal" life. But is Keanu already in your head trying to take over? Or do you just wake up at Ch1 with Jackie trying to get you killed and a bit of a chance?
