I hate Jeeps

Dad ran an auto repair shop for the last 45 years and says they are the single worst brand of vehicle you can buy, I don't even think that's why I hate them so bad though
He also said they are generally annoying customers
These ducks they put all over their interiors is the cringiest shit ever and I can't even explain why it bothers me so much
If you follow any offroad forums you'll notice the jeep people will use insufferable vocabulary such as "my hubby" or "fur babies" or "puppers"
What's wrong with these people and why do they buy these cars?
That's the thing that gets me about all this--the success of these cars is based largely on the past when they were built better. Now they look the part of the old-school classic Jeep but cost-reduced and modernized in ways that impinge on its capabilities and overall reliability. It's a Jeep-shaped p.o.s. from what I gather which really is a sad end for what was once such a great off-road vehicle.
Once upon a Time, the capitalist philosophy of steadily increasing profits was enough to sustain a corporation and their shareholders.
Not anymore
Now it’s an infinite-growth philosophy, where each quarter must be 1000x of greater growth than the last, and no amount of throat slitting can satiate the thirst of the shareholder. This relentless investment baking philosophy is killing us all, but first, all of these companies will eventually kill themselves.
