Could be an open set, with a Cauchy sequence of gayer and gayer folks, but not including the limit point.
We've got a finite set here, so that would imply there is a gayest person at any given moment of time. But yeah, I would expect it to have multiple variables and not guarantee existence of the gayest for all parameters, the chosen one if you will
I’ve only met a finite number of gay folks, but I’m willing to accept the possibility that there are infinitely many gay folks I haven’t met!
