Why? The Trump administration represents true Christian values more than any other president - greed, hypocrisy, exploitation of the stupid, pedophilia, etc.

Many of them consider him a literal prophet, sent by God to lead America into our White Christian Nationalist future. When he is out, you can expect them to pivot to him being an actual God-anointed living prophet, and you can't put a prophet in prison.

But they can collect as much money as they want, from whomever they want, and they can get tax-exempt status, and not explain their revenues to the IRS, or anyone else. It's the perfect set-up for a money launderer.
