Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. Just pop out the headliner and unplug the data antenna under the sharkfin. Or, cover the sharkfin with metal foil duct sealing tape.
The car will work fine. Most KIA models allow you to opt out of data collection.
At some point, this will be a sales feature.
Very few modern vehicles have a "sharkfin". And the Faraday cage isn't necessarily effective. Best thing to do is to disable the telematics module or find some way to remove the SIM (assuming it's not eSIM).
