This reminds me of a skeleton I saw in the Tromso Arctic Museum. A teenage boy who had a life of such hard labor, his bones were worn out. How did people do that from their earliest memories until they died?
You were looking at the skeleton of one of the lucky ones who happened to have the mental fortitude to survive into their teens.
It all boils down to choice and circumstance, one of those more than the other...
