Full title: 92% of American adults aren’t going to a doctor because they cannot afford it. The health insurance industry must be dissolved & all of its executives criminally prosecuted for murder, conspiracy, and treason.

I'm still not seeing why the extra step of a for profit insurance company is ever needed? All it does is raise prices and make life harder for the people in need. Get rid of it, and your money is spent much more directly without someone denying you medical care because they see you as an expense.

It's also important to note that my doctor doesn't charge my government for anything. They're employed directly by the government, which means the government is determining what the cost of a procedure is, instead of the doctor. This lowers the price because you cut out another for profit middleman.

This also means my government has that same person with medical knowledge to determine wether or not a procedure is actually necrssary that you're requesting. The same doctor you visited.

Medical insurance companies and privately owned medical care is ALL just unecessary middlemen that make your life worse. They're not needed, and needs to be removed entirely.

They do suck but if they weren't there who's paying the actual price? It's 20k$ for some shit to get done and with insurance it brings it down to like 300$

Your taxes. In no other country does the procedure actually cost 20k. It's been inflated to ridiculous amounts by the doctors because the insurance pays it.

For is example : UK your taxes pay for it. In Germany your employers and yourself fund the trusts.

It's not free. In the US it's upfront and privatized and that's what makes it expensive to the patient.

A 2,000$ Colonoscopy could be 300$ to the patient in the US but you won't see that upfront in the UK or Germany but you're paying the cost passively.

Yes, it's fucking expensive because private insurances run the system. Nationalized Healthcare would be a tax based system with negotiated rates by the government and the hospitals, pre-set like your prices at a coffee shop and that's the set rate you're paying through taxes.

Same with Germany except it's a social fund that everyone's paying.

it's not fuckin' free

No one has said it's free. I however have said that running it through taxes with no private doctors or insurance makes it a hell of a lot cheaper, because you cut out a lot of greedy business people whose whole purpose in life is to deny you care.

No one has said it’s free.

Maybe not on this post but when the topic of Healthcare and insurance comes up there's still a lot of delusional people out there that do think it's free, like, "free college," initiatives that are income based.

We should be for the revamping but we shouldn't be for spreading the misinformation that it's free.
