I've also deleted WhatsApp when they changed their terms to some bullshit data sharing or something. It's tough when everyone and businesses use WhatsApp as the only means of communication. Average person doesn't even think about tech providers and we're all worse off getting swept in the tide of ignorance.

USians: much of the rest of the world uses WhatsApp like you use texting because global cell carriers largely still charge per text. Even Mexicans are still buying data cards to fill the gaps between wifi hotspots.
