i-think-that Raw cookie dough is a thousand times better than the cookie it becomes. Please just serve me the cookie dough. Cookies are dry and boring; cookie dough is moist and flavorful. It's already perfection ancom-heart

I love me some cookie dough...

With that said, it isn't the eggs that are the problem in raw dough, it's the flour.

You can get seriously sick from eating raw flour.

With that, you would change your tune if you had one of my cookies.

Chocolate chip cookies with brown butter.

It's based on Alton Brown's chocolate chip cookie recipe, I just added brown butter and replaced some of the milk with soy sauce...

Yes, soy sauce... Trust me it works wonders.

Serious answerI know the risks. So far I have had zero problems with eating raw cookie dough in small amounts. I'm pretty healthy other than being overweight, so I can probably "tank" a bad batch of cookie dough. And if my immune system starts to go down the shitter, I would stick to the "safe" brands (a few brands are (supposedly) safe to eat raw (and I would check the veracity of that claim if it comes up) or just stop if my immune system was completely out of commission).
