I used to work in central London and it was always funny hearing Americans trying to pronounce place names.

"Can you tell us how to get to Lee-chester square?"

"You mean Leicester Square?"

They'd always pronounce the H in Buckingham Palace, but the way my nephew or niece said it "bucket and palace" was the best.
