It didn't quite rise to the level I would describe as verbal abuse, but it was only one step below that. At first I'm pretty sure the pedestrian was waiting for me to go. But after a while of back and forth, the blue car then started to try to turn. At that point I moved forward so I was physically blocking the intersection. It could not have been clearer that the pedestrian was completely safe at that point but he just wanted to argue.
This was right at the very end of my ride, which put a dampener on what was otherwise an incredibly lovely morning commute. Trip home was excellent without any real issues.
