    Nah it's really not that bad

    If the company also controlled a significant portion of commerce, had its own distribution and warehouses, and maybe had an entertainment and media division too, then it might be a problem.

    AWS has at least two entire regions that are airgapped, exist within US military bases, are mostly airgapped, and require anyone working in or with them to have TS/SCI security clearances, to the point where AWS will facilitate (and award salary bumps for) employees getting those clearances.
