In Canad, there is no wealth transfer from the lower class to the middle class through taxes. The wealth transfer all occurs at the retail and rental sectors.

I live in Canada. That’s not true. Higher education is heavily subsidized here, yet many of the paths (STEM majors at the top schools) are essentially closed for all but the most gifted of working class students.

Once you realize how skewed education is based on socioeconomic status, you see how little the working class benefit from having their tax dollars go to pay for higher education.
