I mean, I don't really blame people in China not trusting a guy of British decent (me) when I tell them that taking drugs is pretty cool and they should try it.
I have a friend from China who will get shitfaced off 20 shots during CNY but looks disgusted when someone pulls out a thc drink lol
That's not exclusively a china thing. It's common is places where weed isn't accepted. Humans in general are weird about anything associated with morality, I've met people who do shots and coke that think that people taking other substances are drug addled losers /shrug
