What game did you hate even after sinking a lot of time into it?

My goal is just to have a community where people can go and see what new game news is out for the day and comment on it.

I got 60 hours in Death Stranding. I hate that fucking game so much and I never beat it.
I was gunning for 100% though, which can be tedious AF in this game.
Seems that a lot of recent games are getting hate
I can name a few recently released games I enjoyed: Jenny the Witch, Eden's Eclipse, Unbeatable, Mahou Arms, Dead As Disco, and Homura Hime all came out this year.
None is AAA/Kojima affiliated though. Maybe that's where the issue is.
I weirdly enjoy DS more than I thought. I only wish the paranormal encounters weren't there, they just feel like an unnecessary slog, I just want to worry about the terrain and weather stuff.
I tried this right after Baby Steps (which I enjoyed a lot), because DS was one of the inspirations for Baby Steps. I did get some of the same vibes from DS and the areas I visited were beautiful. The atmosphere is great and all. But even without 100% it just feels like a slog in every other way. I think I didn't even hit the 10 hour mark.
I don't even play this genre, and I typically have no interest in Kojima/AAA games, but I wanted to branch out and play something new I typically wouldn't consider playing… that did not work out, to say the least.
