For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.
No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

And most recently he has said by the end of this year grok will be able to make a full story accurate movie, and specifically referenced The odessey
This weirdo is so out of touch with the world that he actually thinks this sounds like a good idea to him. Not one normal person in the world is looking forward to fully AI Slop Entertainment, and yet he's announcing it like it's an exciting historical moment.
AI Slop Entertainment will be aimed at, and embraced by MAGAs, and despised by everyone else. Beware, they'll also do a lot of Children's AI Slop, knowing parents will park their babies in front of the tube, unaware that they are turning them into future MAGA psychopaths.
I want to see that nightmare fuel shit of a movie somewhat, and see how much it costs to generate 3 hours of movie in terms of energy and hardware depreciation. it would really demonstrate how far we are away from AI that is more than a plaything outside of a few special cases.
I'll watch it out of curiosity, but I intend to pirate it. No way I'm paying one cent that will end up in his pocket.
BTW, I doubt I'll watch the whole thing, it will probably be unwatchable anyway. To a dope like Musk, the goal is to make a fully AI movie, and he'll succeed in that, without ever thinking about the part that it needs to be entertaining, or at least educational. It will be a full movie all right, but it will be terrible, and he'll be all pissed off that people don't love it.
Then he and Trump are going to get all pissy when it doesn't get any Oscar nominations. I can't wait for that circus.
