The bigger picture is that you are talking within a philosophy centered space, what, are you so zoomed out that you can't see the immediate context you are in? If anyone has enough time to find a place named "philosophy" and chat there they have time for introductory level reading (or even a podcast, that's where I started and it was far from perfect, but we all start somewhere).

God forbid people want actual philosophy in a philosophy space!!!
