Thats really fuckin hard to step back and do, either durring conflict or to come back and say after, full credit to you for that, I think we can all aspire to being able to take ownership of it if we realize we don't like how we handled something

I feel like the internet makes it really hard to tell people's tone and intent with so much of the social ques like expressions and delivery stripped away and in all fairness I was somewhat flippant in my expressing frustration that someone was being compared to a Nazi, and over the internet it can be hard to read how something like that is meant, especially when lots of people are already arguing with you

A lot of my values system is built on acting in good faith, so I really appreciate being able to get to a place of sincerity. I will say though, I think whem you put your best foot forward ypu often get people's best in response, and you might be surprised how much of the platform is actually lovely folks. Thats part of why Im reflecting that I was somewhat flippant- I didn't put my best foot forward, just wasn't really thinking about it, and I didn't get your best in return 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Thank you, I hope that you do too :) take care lennybird!

Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
