There is growing antisemitism, insofar as many on the right's reasons for opposing Israel essentially boils down to "why are we supporting these dirty jews?"
Antisemitism is real, and many of our political opponents love that shit.
What's not antisemitic is hoping for the downfall of Israel, and lending critical support to Iran and co. As they're the only ones on the world stage taking the Palestinian genocide seriously.
Further, it's disingenuous to assert that this random sect with no power or influence is somehow representative of the "average" opinion on the US left. Sure, maybe it is, if you take the broadest possible definition of "The Left" but who wants to include Nancy Pelosi in that? Not me
I replied to another user above. You can reply there if you wish.
Regarding the "growing antisemitism" topic, at risk of antagonizing the mods too much, I will take an "extreme" position.
I would like to see a world where Jewish people face even 1% of the discrimination that they claim to face on that basis. This is the same way that I wish that white Europeans faced just 1% of the discrimination that the white nationalists and their ilk complain about. Not to "get even" but because currently both groups are receiving the very opposite of structural discrimination.
I would like to see the world view Synagogues with just 1% of the suspicion that they claim to face. Because today, it seems that the Zionists have effectively turned every Jewish worship space into an outpost of Zionism; but saying this or protesting their involvement in zionist colonialism and genocide is not allowed.
The only point I have ever seen discussed is "antisemitic hate crimes" but the only people tracking that seem to be zionist death cultists trying to provoke sympathy for their genocidal colony. In every case I have seen, some Zionist money or organization is involved. Okay then I guess.
