You didn't go retro enough.
You don't install from disk, you run from disk.
To be fair I do remember Spyro taking ages to load each level… N64 didn't have as many loading issues due to the way the cartridges worked

Yeah maybe if u live in Estonia which has excellent Internet services.
But definitely not in germany, where u have to pay a shitton of money and still only get shitty speeds lol
You underestimate how slow blu-ray drives are.
No, you ~~under~~overestimate the internet speeds in some parts of Germany. I get maybe 11 Mbit/s on a good day, about 5-6 Mbit/s average, and less if anyone else in the house is using it. And yes, that's Mbit not MByte.
According to Wikipedia, the slowest Blu-Ray speed is 36 Mbit/s, so about six times my average download speed. And Blu-Rays can go up to 576 Mbit/s.
