The pest control company I've been using (Purcor) has been disappointing me for a while. Who do you use, and what do you pay for recurring service?

I don't want to go into the specifics of which pests, only that my needs are minimal and maintenance-based.

My problem has been with appointment notifications, scheduling, cancellations and lazy maintenance workmanship. I've had technicians show up for appointments unannounced (no with reminder or notification), appointments missed, appointments cancelled day-of, and (in the last few years) a different technician visiting for each cleaning, so there's a fresh re-discovery of the property and its needs with each visit. The pattern seems to be "send whoever out, read the notes and figure it out when you get there."

This is a huge difference from the service they had been providing a few years ago: a text notification a week out (with time to move things around if needed), the tech shows up within the service window, and them being one of two people who had serviced the property before and kept good notes on what was needed. No service areas missed, and good guidance provided on avoiding problems.

Basically I'm looking for a smaller shop that does good work, not a multi-state company with a fleet and lax quality control standards.

That's quite fair and very understandable. I wish I had a recommendation for a specific company for ya!
