Say you learn that a bunch of creepy people are jacking it to a picture of your feet. You feel disgusted. You feel objectified. You feel like you are violated. Then, after feeling like this for a while, you learn it isn't a picture of your feet, it's someone else's feet. However, all the creeps jerking it to that picture have also been thinking it's your feet. Many of them still think it's your feet.
How do you feel? Do your feelings change at all? To me, it just seems so arbitrary. Like imagine a prude artist who's painting a nude model, but they don't want to draw a penis, so they get a different artist to draw the penis for them. It's still their name that's signed on the painting. The painting still has a penis. Maybe they should just get over their arbitrary hangups on nudity and paint the damn thing themselves?
Why would I not know it wasn't a picture of my feet? Are you suggesting Lena Headey didn't know they used a body double?
So the whole part of feeling objectified because people are jacking off to a picture I think is of me doesn't ever happen. Which is the point of using a body double.
It's not your choice for someone to show their naked body to you (regardless of how the photons ultimately reach your retinas), it's their choice. Projecting what you think other people should be feeling about this is really weird, dude.
