also funny how they're saying this in australia, where you definitely have to speak english and become an australian and even then it's a racist place. and remind me, how did/do the australians treat their "ethnic minorities" (the real natives)? :D

And I think teaching everyone one language (at least) is good in Australia too even with the colonialism baggage.
