im honestly surprised at the pause. if the whole point is to normalize extradjudicial execution, why demonstrate any caution? unless the impression from leadership is that these killings are happening too quickly in succession for insurrectionary anger to dissipate.

but these people don't strike me as having their fingers on the pulse or much of a grip on reality.
