I started to feed and water my neighboring crows

Bring stories and images of your encounters with crows, ravens, and other corvids. Link articles and anecdotes. Note here your literary references. Art welcome.
I've been looking after my nieces two flat coat retrievers for a couple of weeks, and on every walk we need to pass by a crows nest, and oh boy, the parents are so pissed at me/us, getting up real close and personal, telling us to fuck right off. I'm just waiting for them to physically attack us. Maybe I can smooth things over by bringing them some treats, once the dogs are no longer here.
Had a tame raven come by and hang out for a summer and can confirm that it's a good idea to have a bag of nuts on hand at all times in case you encounter them. Just put some nuts out on the ground where they can see you do it; throwing them doesn't always work well.
Yeah, they hate dogs. Try with peanuts. Internet says they love it. I'm waiting for my order of 3kg peanuts for crows only. ๐ Can't wait to treat them.
If I remember, I'll post about our situation, if parents forgave me because of my presents.
