Obviously, when the alternative to murder children is to either go to jail, or simply to go back home to your own country, those who choose to murder children anyways bears the full responsibility for the murders. Nobody is press ganged into the IOF at gunpoint.

So we agree IOF personnel are responsible for the genocide they are committing.

acknowledging that most of the preparators are not having a good time, exactly because that kind of responsibility is devastating to most human beings

Yea, because mass murder is toxic to ones humanity/psyche/soul/essence. The einsatzgruppen falling apart mentally was a major contributing factor to the use of gas chambers. Those guys had issues with alcohol and amphetamines, should I feel sorry for those "victims" too?

I know being raised in a fascist society fucks with one's entire being, I'm willing to call children victims, but when an 18 year old shoots a child in the head for being born in the wrong place I refuse to call that murderer and those who support them a victim. There's a certain point where you have to make a choice for yourself, and yea being force-fed propaganda since birth puts you at a disadvantage, but if you are unable or unwilling to see your fellow human beings as human beings I can't call you a victim.

Little Joe born and raised in Israel is a victim of a fascist regime and I feel sorry for that kid, but Adult Joe kills an unarmed civilian for crossing an invisible line while trying to get food for his starving family. Adult Joe is not a victim and should be put down like the rabid dog he is

We absolutely agree on the culpability of the IOF stormtroopers. They were not forced, they chose this.

Assigning blame does not preclude understanding the inner workings and tensions of Zionist society. You should know your enemy after all. You can call them victims if you want but I don't think doing so makes sense in anything but the most relativistic understanding of the term and it has very limited utility. Maybe you could make the case that the general settler population are being relatively victimised by the hardcore Zionist leaders and maybe that claim might have some specific utility for propaganda purposes by increasing internal tensions among Zionists.

But outside of that I don't think calling for sympathy for settlers helps to understand the situation or to agitate for the resistance. Sympathy for settlers should be reserved for the vanishingly few of them who refuse to to take part in the genocide.

Wait shit I think we talked past each other a bit, my b, I'm saying that every IOF member and the grand majority of the Israeli population are not and should not be called victims
