I agree but would like my xr glasses with no camera to be safe from the punching. They are just a dumb display to watch movies and play games when I travel.

Well... Firstly, no you most likely really don't. Secondly, even if you do, when you tape the cameras of these things they won't really be any different from having ChatGPT on your phone.
There is no legitimate reason to own these things other than being prescribed treatments for the visually impaired and ego boosting status machines for imbeciles, literal imbeciles.
I hope you actually do that and then you are prosecuted according to your local law
