I know this sounds really ignorant but it seems like the news has slowed wayyyy down in the last week or two, and I suspect it’s because the USA is about to run out of gasoline and the bourgeoisie doesn’t know what to do about it. Maybe the world cup has something to do with it, maybe that’s a factor in other countries, but Americans generally don’t care about the world cup even though it’s being held in the USA. Is this just me or have others noticed the news slowdown and what could the reason be?

Nothing ever happens crew represent.

I've had a hunch that the deep state ghouls are actually confused for the first time. They finally got their conflict with Iran and it sputtered out. It looked like for a moment they were attempting regime change in Cuba but that seems to have failed as well. The trickle of news I've read about the Iran conflict have suggested it was far more embarrassing and costly than we've heard, and that put a damper on a bunch of deep state plans.

They don't know what they're doing or why, so the whole world seems to have slowed down

I've said this before but Elon DOGE'd all the ghouls who actually knew how to do the legwork of reproducing empire. The motherfuckers who were 45 years deep into their State Department or FBI run and either got axed because woke or just read the writing on the wall and peace'd out.

Things like "how to properly redact documents" and "who to flip and when to flip them when you're trying to coup a smaller nation" or "how to thread the needle between placating Israel's bloodlust and maintaining the status quo of the petrodollar" were things that those people knew how to do but never actually wrote down, so their successors are working with basically half of a manual for running the empire. They know how to send in some troops, they know how to shock and awe, but nobody knows how to keep the scheme going anymore. The American Empire is coasting along on pure structural inertia at this point and the cracks in the foundation are no longer being painted over.

I theorized that Hegseth ending hiring pipelines between the Ivy Leagues and the State Department would have some significant knock-on effects 10 years from now but it looks like DOGE did way more damage than people even thought in the short term.

I think it's far more likely that they those things are extensively documented, it's just there's no reason to read fake documentation written by deep Biden woke liberal nerds big-cool

We’re obviously at a point of capitalist crisis not in the “economy shat the bed again” category that happens every decade but more like the Keynesian and Neoliberal turns. Fundamentally this model of capitalist organization is becoming less viable. Major challenges precipitating this are China’s rise, climate crisis, and the decline of neocolonial institutions/frameworks like Israel as USA’s MENA FOB and the petrodollar/Saudi system, with cracks also forming in Africa spearheaded by Burkina Faso/Sahel phasing out CFA franc, more Chinese capital flowing in.

What comes next in capitalism needs to contend with another power/bloc in the world, one which liberal internationalist institutionalist actions (think color revolutions or NGO warfare) can’t overthrow. It needs to be willing and able to respond to changes caused by climate. Since the US is head of the bourgeois system, it’s going to go harder into oil. They will be putting together the methods for genocide against the third world, essentially, as poor people down the southern way seek to flee the warming disease created by global capitalism’s need for more and more and more.

All and all, I predict this new form of capitalist organization will be techno-fascism. Not an appropriate term, but it’s the best I’ve got. Fundamentally the organization of this system in our times must mirror the death drive FULLY and in ALL OF ITS TERROR.

Personally I don't think they're done with Cuba. I suspect they'll go back to threatening and attacking them after the World Cup and when they're done with Iran.

I don't think the Trump admin will be done with Iran until his term is over because the only possibility of settling terms would be an admission that the US lost. There's no way to flip it into making it look like Trump won.

I also can't imagine Cuba going well either. They have air defense, albeit extremely old Soviet-era missiles and MANPADS. I believe Cuba also operates zero jet fighters or drones.

I know Venezuela also has air defense, but I currently believe the Venezuelan government cut a deal to give up Maduro in exchange for removing sanctions. I can't imagine any other deal happening with Cuba. Is the US state really going to abduct 95 year old Raúl Castro? Or Díaz-Canel? The last op to attack Cuba was the whole Havana syndrome thing and that flopped. I don't know what the angle would be now.
