A relative is going to pass very soon and I need to travel for the first time in years. There's only one airline that traverses the two (very big) cities, meaning I have no choice. I have been unable to book a flight for a day now despite the airline saying everything is working.

Update: After calling a representative again, we figured out the problem: the flight I need has broken equipment and isn't an option. There's no indication in any system about this and I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes while they figured it out. Still mildly infuriating.

Try different browsers, devices, and connections to the internet. If that doesnt work call an old fashioned travel agent.
