I just don't understand how any person could vote for him more than once. It wasn't a secret that he is totally incompetent, spiteful and extremely stupid after just a couple days of him being in charge the first time. His first term was a clown show where he continuously fired his staff. If you somehow think he's going too far only now, then frankly it says a lot about you and your lack of sense, empathy and political literacy.

His values have constantly shown that he is sexist, racist, greedy, slovenly and generally hateful. If you have voted for him three times, frankly, you probably are those things as well.

I kind of wish I would have voted for him once. I've had 3 chances...

I'm kinda curious as to what it must have felt like. I suppose the phrase would be "morbid curiosity".

Also I kind of wish I would have voted the second time and that he would have won the first second time. So we would have only had 8 years of Trump instead of the +12 we are going to get.

It would feel like approving white nationalism.

uuuggghhhh You can't help yourself can you?

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Why would I want to gloss over white nationalism?

[-] SalamiDommie@lemmus.org -2 points 1 day ago

Because it wasn't brought up and it in no way was insinuated. You that isn't what was being said.

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

It was brought up, by you, because you said you wanted to vote for him.

[-] SalamiDommie@lemmus.org 0 points 1 day ago

I didn't say anything about white nationalism. You did. All I said is I have a curiosity as to what it might have felt like.

And I don't think it would have felt like that.

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

You said you wanted to know what voting for a fascist felt like, so I told you what it would be like. The neat part is, regardless how you think it may feel, that is the outcome

[-] SalamiDommie@lemmus.org 0 points 23 hours ago

Wait - did you vote for him? Do you know what it felt like?

Or are you just grafting your position into it?

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago

No, i didn't. Im not grafting my position into it. He has a track record to go off of. Its on you if you choose to ignore that
