Dread of Wet is not bad as long as I am not forced to put clothes on until absolutely bone dry
Any amount of wet and damp with clothes touching is grounds for murder.

I have the same sensory hatred but recently discovered I can tolerate a few seconds of cotton fabric shlerping onto my skin with the tradeoff that the fabric begins absorbing moisture and I become bone dry more quickly

I hate it but less than I hate being stuck in front of the fan for 45 min because I can't stand the skin water not fucking off immediately

Have you tried the bird bath method for getting the water off faster you basically use your hands to push the water off each part of your body. As you run your hands down each part of your body it kinda squeegee s the water off. Kinda fun too

Ooooh I do this. Also blow dryer / space heater if it's not too hot out

Yup, also do this before toweling off! Learned that from the internet a few years ago and it makes a huge difference

Try a swim chamois. I barely need any toweling now.

I just lounge around in a bathrobe made of towel material until something forces me to put on actual clothes. Doesn't stick to skin at all, and every point of contact just means getting drier.
