This is the tool I made and used to successfully find flat in Berlin. The trick is basically that you need to answer as fast as possible to each ad.

ImmoPi scans in realtime various portals
Sends a webpush notification to you phone or desktop computer as soon an ad that meets your criteria is published
It's free
hosted in a raspi4

Don't know, I haven't lived in Leipzig but I can say finding a place in Berlin is pretty demanding
