wonder how much STDs were an issue back then.

when populations were tiny and very sparsely distributed.

most diseases come from dense urban developments (I mean early civilizations, not now)

I dunno, STDs had to come from somewhere and lacking basic cleanliness tech (e.g. soap, much less any other treatment) would make them really hard to treat. Also, before religion made sex shameful and taboo, I bet cave tribes got freaky at a prodigious rate.

"Religion" obviously only means abrahamic religions, why would anyone care about tiny things like checks writing on palm hinduism?
