Yes those are their actual names, after the backlash they never appeared in published comic(these are from sneak peaks at a then unreleased new New Warriors series) apparently their origin involved inhaling 'internet gas'

This shit doesn't communicate anything. I can Google "nonbinary people" and come away with a better understanding of I read a single SEO optimized whatever on the subject.

What power do they have? General ice and maybe some kind of beam? There's no subtlety or implication of anything about them? Inclusion should at least mean making the heros distinctly like those people and then preferably make them look capable of doing something cool.

Or even give it some humor! What if it was a closeted hero who had a rivalry with Mayhem Magnet? They have to learn from a Trump-monk at the top of a mountain that magnets stop working if you put them in water. So they embrace their identity as a genderFLUID hero, douse the magnets, destroy the dipolar menace, and save the day?

Their story continues when they have a checkers guy they have to play chess against (the villain comes back playing chess so they have to learn 4d chess). They have a computer programmer (binary babe) they have to go into the quantum realm to expose her weakness.

All the while they're trying to reconnect with their estranged nonbinary sibling who they shunned while they were closeted and they're looking for redemption.

God forbid you make a fun story instead of reskinning formulaic bullshit

Not sure with snowflake but yeah probably some sort of Ice based powers, or if Marvel was cool they'd make them the equivalent of DC's Snowflame(who is awesome)

Safespace could create forcefields but only if they were actively using them to protect people

They start the climb in full Juggalo makeup which the reluctantly have to remove after learning the secrets of magnets
