Guys it has happened.... Tyler olivera the infamous right-wing shitfluencer is making a video a about belgium. If u arent aware yet Tyler Olivera is doing a lot of shitty clickbait videos around the Us and now even the world all aiming to distort the narrative. He also met up with Dries Van Langenhove, a flemish nationalist. In addition to this, this is just another one of those videos purposefully trashing belgium and in particular brussels for its multicultural character.

Brussels and to a lesser extent Antwerp are the far right's pride because they will always use non white people there to scare their voters living in the middle of bumfuck nowhere.

Brussels and Antwerp are the greatest economic forces of the country. In Brussels' case most of the people working there do not live there but rather commute from surrounding areas. The way Belgium is set up means that the people working there and accounting for the wealth take said wealth to their own areas of Flanders and Wallonia. Meanwhile Brussels has to accomodate nearly two million inhaibtants and also thousands of commuters going into the city while not getting the benefits of the wealth it creates.

Being the country's largest city means attracting foreigners. This is the same for Antwerp being the second largest city. This is the same for every major city around the world, ever. You do not move to a country to live in a rural village because chances are there is not that much work around if you are not into farming or whatever.

Belgium then is notorious for having heavily segregated communities. I personally live in Antwerp and my neighborhood is quite nice. It consists of mostly white people, mostly Belgian as well. The few migrants that live here are probably white and European. I worked in a migrant heavy area and over there you will see few white people around. Brussels has the same issues. Put the migrants into poverty stricken areas segregated from the Belgian people and no wonder they struggle to find a way into the local communities.

The most funny thing about this all is that despite being so called hell holes overrun with migrants (they are not), both of these cities vote heavily left wing. In both Antwerp and Brussels our communist party is huge. In Antwerp we are nearing 25% of votes. And voting is mandatory here so legit 1 in 4 people in this hell hole want to vote communist. It's again people from villages that never see a paved road in their life that are scared of people they never interact with. Us people actually living here know better.

There are problems in these cities, yes. That is what happens when you put millions of people together in a capitalist society. You will have shitty areas. But I have lived in this city for years now and if you'd believe the headlines it is a war zone to live in. But reality is always different.

"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985
