I don't want a single fucking dime going to the IRGC.

This isn't a pay-out: it's reparations for wanton destruction via sloppy bombing.

  1. Keep in mind it's not a dime they're getting, but a dime they're getting back.
  2. Regardless of how we feel about the regime, the just decision is reparations (and a war crime tribunal) since this is about who we are and not about whom they are. Unfortunately, human rights is the baseline for interaction that extends to terrible people just like good people because they're people.

Everything that happened to the IRGC themselves was deserved. While I think the Iranian citizens need some aid to build back hospitals and civilian targets struck by the malicious Israelis and incompetent Trump admin, I don't have the confidence that it will be properly allocated to them by the corrupt and brutal IRGC, nor should we allow the IRGC to take credit for any such reconstruction because it will inevitably lead more violence and destruction down the road.
