    You don't have to, but Lemmy counts community activity by comments instead of votes.

    Post and comment ranking is determined by a formula that uses vote counts and post time. As time increases each post's ranking decays allowing for fresher posts and comments to rise.

    Is it enough to do one post on any instance? Or does the instance matter as well?
