If anybody is in the blue bit. I recommend meditation.

It's only a life changer. I genuinely do not understand how people can have good lives without it. And tbh, when you find out who does and does not meditate, you understand 100% why their lives are like they are.

But let me sell it to you properly, when you get good at it, and even most of the time just out of luck when you're starting out; it's like a special place of peace and relaxation you just cannot get anywhere else. It's like turning off the world, or like sleeping, but being awake to know this is your place and nothing can touch you.

Seriously, it's underrated AF.

I couldn’t have said it better. Some people are genuinely not suited to it without other interventions first, but for everyone else, it’s basic mental hygiene.

This reminded me to meditate. I only do so occasionally but I am considering trying to weasel it into my day.

After enough time, you'll want to do it daily. Just make it easy for yourself, I've gone years without, and years constant, it ebbs and flows.

Don't be strict either. If a session has been particularly hard, I'll give up, go and do something else for 10 minutes to clear my head, sometimes even have a cigarette, and then when I come back it's easier to get in the zone.

Best of luck
