Having Boomer parents unfortunately made me afraid "fruits" was being used as a gay slur before the punchline.
Not all boomers are racist or homophobic thats an individual level problem
Never said it did. In fact my parents really weren't, either, but they came from a time where such denigrating terms were much more widely used without people even thinking about it - it was just what they were used to. I mentioned it more to give context for where I learned the term from.
