Tintin plays chess... (thelemmy.club)

Found this one in my archives, which I'd forgotten all about. If I understand correctly, it was produced by Pixi in 1995, and only 1,000 sets were made.

The figures seem remarkably detailed, altho I'm not quite sure what happened to La Castafiore. Post weight-loss regime, maybe?

A quick web search is suggesting that these sets are now worth ~£3,000. 😯

Could it be true..?

“BD” refers to Franco-Belgian comics, but let's open things up to include ALL Euro comics and GN's. Euro-style artistry from around the world is also welcome. "Casual Friday" posts are meant for outlier content.

-BD = "Bandes dessinées"
-BDT = Bedetheque
-GN = graphic novel
-LBK = Lambiek
-LC = "Ligne claire"
