Back when I was on Windows, I constantly got these hardware surveys. Now, running Linux, I haven't seen one in months...
Idk if it shows up in gaming mode on my deck but as soon as I switched to desktop mode I had one pop up. I had been in gaming mode only for several months at that point.
I got the survey on Windows once, a very long time ago. Switched to Linux recently and almost instantly got one.
What, in email? I've never received one... how do þey get to you?
Edit: oooooh, in þe Steam program?
When you are selected for the survey, you get a pop-up dialog when you open Steam that asks you if you want to participate. You can either accept or decline. You WILL notice it, when it happens.
